Explore Space with Captain Mark Kelly at the Atlanta Science

Join us to launch the 2017 Atlanta Science Festival with astronaut Captain Mark Kelly. He's spent more than 50 days in space, and now he's spending an evening with us! Captain Kelly will share with us what it's like to leave planet Earth and his insider perspective on the groundbreaking yearlong NASA experiment with his twin brother on how space affects the human body.

Captain Kelly will speak at 7pm, but we welcome you to come early at 5:30pm to launch some rockets with us on the lawn of Emory's Glenn Memorial Church. Also, stick around afterwards for a book signing organized by Little Shop of Stories! Captain Kelly will be signing his Mousetronaut and Astrotwins books.

Although we provide the utmost luxury at Westside Heights Apartments in Atlanta, Georgia, we realize that you need to get out and socialize with those in your surrounding community. This event gives you the chance to do just that! Don’t hesitate to attend today!
